Audio Books Galore

Ok… I’ve been on the MP3 bandwagon for quite a while now. I’ve been ripping and downloading MP3′s since way before Napster ever came on the scene. So when I decided to purchase a portable MP3 player, I decided to go with a player that could handle my vast collection of tunes. After months of comparison shopping I decided to go with the iRiver H140. It seemed to fit my style and I’ve completely loved it (even if the 40gb hard drive is getting a bit crowded).

Anyway… I recently decided to combine my audiophile habit with something else I love… reading. I figured audio books would be a great way to pass the time during my commute to and from work. Here we go again…

Well, after yet another rebuild, we’re almost ready to go. Just gotta collect some content now.

Being the amature site authors that we are, we keep finding better ways to build (and rebuild) the site to make things run more smoothly. Unfortunately, it just becomes too difficult to maintain updates when you’re coding everything in notepad. Now, before you say anything, we know there are tools out there that would make things easier, however, part of the reason we’re building this page is to gain some additional knowledge about web design. Luckily we’ve recently figured out better ways to maintain content and the new site design will make navigation a little easier as well.

Ultimately, we’d like to build a site that compliments our interests and provides a waypoint to our eBay sales. Zach and I both work for eBay and we’re always buying and selling random stuff on the site. We want to use this site as a place where we can rant about the stuff we’ve bought and provide detailed information about the stuff we’re selling. Unfortunately, that makes this site very… ‘eclectic’. The vast array of items we’re interested in and purchase on eBay is just too much for one site, but we’re gonna try anyway. And hopefully this time we’ll stick with it and get the page done.
