ModStomp.com is maintained (if you can call it that) by Zach, Mike and friends. We’re basically just your average, ever-day sorta geeks.

Currently this site is just a spare time hobby (thus the infrequent updates), but we’d like to make it more someday. We both currently have ‘real’ jobs working for a ‘real’ companies which makes it difficult to invest the required amount of time.

We both have kids and lives which take up most of our time, so what little time we have left goes into building and maintaining this site, amongst other things (pc gaming, building and modding computers, outdoor adventuring, etc). Needless to say, we don’t spend as much time updating the site as we’d like to.

Zach and I have both worked in the IT field for quite a while. I’ve worked for suck, er, such IT giants as Microsoft, Intel and eBay and Zach worked for the infamous ‘Super Dell’ of Utah’s Totally Awesome Computers. We have learned much during our many magical journeys though the wonder land of techno-geekery and this site is a continuation of those adventures.

Between the two of us, we tend to buy and sell lots of nifty little gadgets and gizmos and build and re-build our computers fairly often. This means we get our hands on some cool technology and we thought we’d share our opinions about the stuff we’ve played with. Most ‘review’ sites give you lots of comparison graphs and charts to let you know why one gadget or piece of hardware is better than another. Graphs and charts are good and all, but it can sometimes be hard to find a site where you get a decent real world review. We figure we give our gizmos a pretty average beating and thought we’d share what we’ve found to be the good and bad sides of each so you can decide if it’s something you might wanna drop your hard earned cash on. Our reviews may not be totally impartial, but we do try to be as straight forward as we can be.

Do you have Questions? Comments? Horribly derogatory slander?

Here at ModStomp, we’re always looking for feedback. Please drop us a note to let us know what you think. And if you have questions regarding the site or the crew, we’ll get back to you as quickly as possible.

Thanks,
The ModStomp Team
