It’s been a long time coming, but I think the virtual world is just about ready for permanent habitation. I’m not talking about some lame excuse for reality like 2nd Life or PSHome, but I’m pretty sure I could spend the rest of my days lounging around and sipping frosty beverages on the shores of the tropical paradise contained within Crytek’s latest gem Crysis. Up to now, I haven’t felt too pressed to upgrade to Vista and a DX10 video card. However, that may change soon with the release of games like Crysis. My daughter will forgive me if I spend her college fund on a new gaming rig… right?
