For those of you out there running unprotected wireless networks at home, wireless thieves are always a concern. And if they’re not a concern, well… you may wanna question why it takes 10 minutes for the Google home page to load.
Whether it’s the neighbor next door or some random wardriver, these jerks can be huge bandwidth hogs. Regardless of whether they’re just checking their email or serving up their whole ripped DVD collection, the result is the same. But before you cut em off cold turkey, have a little fun with em. Let em know you’re onto them and that you don’t appreciate it.
Pete Stevens now brings you, among other things, the Upside-Down-Ternet. This fun little trick does require some basic knowledge of how to administrate your wireless router, but the results are quite humorous. So if you suspect your wireless signal is being used by somebody other than yourself, serve em up some Upside-Down-Ternet.
