I got Rockbox on my sansa E250 becuase someone recomended it for supporting an 8gb sd card. as it turned out you can boot the original firmware or rockbox, rockbox has hundreds of different themes <b>and It solved my problem. As it turns out rockbox as capability akin to a dos computer(with a GUI) so it has an armarment of games and applications such as a pitch detector, chopper the classic DOOM(really cool 1994 dos computergame) and even a primitivve painting program. There is no reason not to get rockbox.

I am a bit worried that the Nano 4 feels too light and is so thin that it will easily break under pressure.

Those Sansa's are sweet little players. My sister just got one so I got to play with it a bit. I love the fact that it doesn't require WMP to load it. Seems like a solid little machine.

RockBox is the shit!!! I have the Sansa e250 and i cant connect it to my computer unless i turn it off then hold record then plug it in. But its completly worth it... as long as you get DOOM.

Go forth and upgrade my son. You have the belssing of ModStomp, with all the rights and privileges that entails.

Do you still have your iRiver or are you planning to do your iPod?

Regardless, its everything I hoped it would be. I've only really got one minor issue with it, but compared to all the issues it solves, it was waaaay worth it.
